The Free Flight system provides equal access for all shareholders to all aircraft, thereby maximising availability and protecting from down time in the event of maintenance delays.
Many shareholders volunteer to run parts of the group's business, which revolves around the community based at www.cirrus147.com, thereby keeping overheads to a minimum. Bookings are made via the web community, and shared flying is encouraged to help maximise enjoyment and transfer additional knowledge and skills.
All maintenance is organised centrally, and aircraft are regularly updated with IFR charts and databases. Pilots get free fuel when they help with maintenance flights. Free Flight expect to take delivery of the first Cirrus Personal Jet ("the-jet" by Cirrus) in 2010 and is holding position number 006 in the CPJ production run.
Free Flight has 5 years and more than 3500 flight hours of Cirrus experience, and welcomes enquiries from Individuals wanting to join, and from groups at new locations wanting to benefit by using their Cirrus under the Free Flight scheme. Simply fill out the "Contact Us" form at www.cirrus147.com
Welcome to Free Flight. Through shared ownership, we bring together people and aircraft to have fun and fly far in Europe
Ever since 2002, we have grown, often by word of mouth, with new aircraft and members joining all the time.
We continue to expand based on the principles of mutual support, simplicity, fairness and efficiency.
If you join us, our group's mission is to grow your love for flying, and your flying ability.
We will help you to use your flying skills for work and pleasure, and above all to help you get the most flying miles possible for your spend.
