This month, with the start of a new flying season getting underway, I have been prompted by events to embark on a treatise concerning some of the physiological aspects of aerobatic flying. I am not a doctor or a dispensing chemist, but I do understand the principles of evolution by natural selection and I have been flying aerobatics for a little over 45 years.
So I feel justified in passing on my thoughts and in creating a hypothesis that might assist readers in understanding some of the physiological effects of aerobatic flight in a way that is perhaps both educational and occasionally amusing
Evolution and instinct
Human beings are adaptable creatures but come with evolutionary baggage....
